Manor house in Pribeník

Manor house in Boršiany
The manor is of great importance as a monument (birthplace) Francis II. Rákocziho. Despite the appearance of abandonment we surprise us high historical and architectural value. Francis II. Rákóczi - Transylvania magnate and leader of the last Habsburg uprising of the years 1703 to 1711, was born in boršianskom mansion, which is a unique complex of Renaissance noble residence.
Renaissance style building was completed in 1570. According to the inscription on the stone portals it was built by Nicholas originating from the genus Kamarásovcov, which merged with the family Zeleméryovcov. The manor house was built in plan L-shaped castle there they went to the west across the stone bridge the moat, and initially from the inlet portal run on a drawbridge. Moat encircled the whole area-storey mansion. At the main entrance did not lack portcullis.
