Manor house in Pribeník

It is one of the architectural gems Medzibodrožia a  historically protected. It was built in. 1798 Family Majláthovcov, known charity. Manor house in Boršiany

The manor is of great importance as a monument (birthplace) Francis II. Rákocziho. Despite the appearance of abandonment we surprise us high historical and architectural value. Francis II. Rákóczi - Transylvania magnate and leader of the last Habsburg uprising of the years 1703 to 1711, was born in boršianskom mansion, which is a unique complex of Renaissance noble residence.

Renaissance style building was completed in 1570. According to the inscription on the stone portals it was built by Nicholas originating from the genus Kamarásovcov, which merged with the family Zeleméryovcov. The manor house was built in plan L-shaped castle there they went to the west across the stone bridge the moat, and initially from the inlet portal run on a drawbridge. Moat encircled the whole area-storey mansion. At the main entrance did not lack portcullis.

Underneath the stone portal were entering the courtyard, where they stood outbuildings. The mansion was decorated with the typical Renaissance windows that illuminate the individual rooms. These fireplaces provide heat placed in the corners of rooms, also decorated Renaissance. Like this castle looked when, in 1676 it saw the light of legendary Francis II. Rákóczi.

 
The mansion was later damaged several times, with minor modifications were made mainly in the 18th and 20th centuries. The first museum established here during World War II, but after the castle gradually fell into disrepair - like many others in Slovakia. Today is municipal property, which seeks to reconstruct as faithfully as possible. The manor has a new roof and reconstructed mainly newer buildings. In the restored rooms is a museum with artifacts documenting the history of the castle and the family Rákóczi. Several artifacts collected refer, in particular the life and operation of Francis II. Rákócziho. A notable example is his bust by sculptor J. Mayer from 1907 located in front of the main entrance.

 Wiczmándy family coundry house and  Budkovce manor house 

In Budkovce is Wiczmándy family mansion. Wiczmándyová family in the village after Buttkayovcoch's second. As the only nobles except Buttkayovcov owned (from r. 1568) right to bear arms.
