Pavol Horov exhibition was opened in  1987 and is locaded in former elementary school building in  Bánovcie nad Ondavou. After throrough reconstruction total space availabe for the museu amounted to 380m2.

Literary museum exposition 

Pavol Horov Literary museum expozition is devided into two topical sections:

1. Pavol Horov the National artist 
2. Pavol Horov´s conpatriots 

National artist  Pavol Horov - is interduced  in two lobby  rooms that show him sa a poet and a person of high moral and aestetic values.  The exibition documents his literary estate aand activities in Zemplin region  Content of the room is devited into eight sections:  

• Home soil 
• Poetic begginings 
• Person and poet at crossroads (Zradné vody spodné, Nioba matka naša, Návraty, Defilé)
• Poet´s afternoon  (Moje poludnie, Slnce nad nami)
• Two fold return   (Vysoké letné nebe, Balada o sne)
• Submerging poet  básnik (Korály z Janova, Ponorná rieka) 
• From the last (Asonancie, Z posledných) 
• Translations

Second roon up the floor is an audio-visual hall where lectures and discussions take places along with projection of topical related movies and literary oriented documentaries.  In addition adiopresentation of Horov poetry are presented here as well as a number of related exhibitions installed. 

Second topical section of the exposition represents Pavol Horov´s compatriots and their activities
